Though I was less than one year old during the 1967 "Summer of Love," music was always in my blood! From the time I got my first Beach Boys & Beatles albums in the mid-1970's, I was HOOKED. In the 1980's I became addicted to college radio alternative music. Now well into my 20's, my musical taste was evolving into different genres and I became obsessed with psychedelic-influenced music. By the turn of the century (year 2000, early-mid 30's in age), I started to collect anything & everything musically psychedelic or what is considered sunshine pop. I enjoy both genres equally.
In these past 25 years the internet has provided me the perfect tool & opportunity to research the bands/artists I blog about here. It's my gift to you to share my knowledge.
**DISCLAIMER** Just because a band released psychedelic or sunshine pop during that era doesn't mean I will blog about them. One requirement for every artist on this blog is that I admire at least one of their songs.
